Amur Khabarovsk

Amur Khabarovsk is a professional ice hockey team based in Khabarovsk, in Russia’s Far East, competing in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Founded in 1957, the club represents one of the league’s most geographically remote locations, close to the border with China. The team plays its home games at Platinum Arena and takes its name from the nearby Amur River, which forms part of the Russian-Chinese border. Amur is known for its black, orange, and white colours and for facing demanding travel schedules due to its location. Although the club has not won a Gagarin Cup, it remains an important part of the KHL’s Far Eastern hockey identity.
