HC Olomouc

HC Olomouc is a professional ice hockey team based in Olomouc, a historic city in the Moravian region of Czechia, competing in the Czech Extraliga (TELH). Founded in 1955, the club spent much of its history outside the top division before earning promotion to the Extraliga in 2014. The team plays its home games at Zimní stadion Olomouc, a traditional hockey arena known for its close atmosphere and passionate supporters. Olomouc is recognised by its red and white colours and its determined approach to competing against clubs with larger budgets. The club won its first Czech Extraliga championship in 1994, during the early years of the independent Czech league system, marking the greatest achievement in its history.
